We propose to introduce a contemporary structural element to the MAD that will create a link between the past and future, much like the pyramid at the Louvre. The project consists of a large-scale reversible installation that offers new uses of the space, new technical possibilities and new experiences. Easy to understand yet complex, coherent yet multidisciplinary, our proposal is an organic combination of high-tech with the architectural style of Renaissance France. This inter-penetration of two architectural entities creates a new experience: surprise encounters, absence of centre, symmetry and borders, the interconnection of currently separate spaces, the extension of possible practices.
