Sculpture Garden is in the sloping park belonging to the Nivola Museum, dedicated to the artist Costantino Nivola. The project offers a discreet architectural stroll with a gallery and several pavilions, showcasing Nivola’s sculptures in tune with nature. The project is inspired by the dialogue between nature and architecture in traditional Chinese gardens, according to the Yuanye book, the Garden Treatise. The gallery adds movement to the garden and the pavilions are designed as places to stop and enjoy an intimate moment with nature. The sculptures are seen like stones in the Chinese garden, creating a relationship between architecture and nature. The sculpture scenography is inspired by poetical images from the Yuanye book.
