After writing a dissertation on the representation of shadow and light, in which I became interested in natural clarity and obscurity, I decided to use the relationship between these luminous phenomena and materiality to produce this project. I decided to refurbish a pottery studio, a space for creativity, discovery and sharing, which evolves along with its occupants. An adaptable workspace with a wooden structure, with planks that slot into each other, animated by bright porcelain surfaces. Located in the heart of Paris, where there are many artist and artisan studios, in a popular, dynamic district, the Inouï studio contributes to the enrichment of culture and history.
