This dissertation is dedicated to detail. It's there to be understood and used to its best advantage. To understand its real place, its real value, what it really says and how it makes you feel.In this dissertation, I give it a central role, a role that is crucial to everything. Buildings, spaces, objects, emotions and, more widely, atmospheres. However, detail is heavily affected by each person's perception. Each person sees detail as it appears to them or as they want to see it.They magnify it, extinguish it, interfere with it, disrupt it and evolve with it. But ultimately, doesn't detail provoke all these emotions?
