We're living in a world of finite resources. As the world's population grows, our planet is no longer capable of meeting all our needs. It's our duty to consume better, or consume less, to enable the survival of our species and our ecosystems. In this dissertation, I’ve tried to identify solutions currently used in construction that will reduce our carbon footprint. I've selected certain solutions that are relevant for me. This should be our main objective, as greenhouse gases are partly responsible for climate change. Through my research, I’ve seen that there is not just one solution, but several solutions that, with the help of measures taken by our governments, can help us respond to the problems of climate change.
