For a few years now, I've been interested in design and interior architecture. I've been taught these concepts through Western history and the industrial process. But due to globalisation, this approach goes beyond borders and African culture seems to have appropriated an area where we thought we were the trailblazers. Given that our definition of design is the creation of objects to be part of our daily lives, I thought it would be interesting to study the impact that the African lifestyle could have on the very concept of design.
