Nous nous sommes int\u00e9ress\u00e9es aux trois moyens majeurs de transmission. La transmission orale, par l\u2019observation et par le faire. Ces moyens de transmettre donnent naissance \u00e0 trois lieux distincts. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

Le Mad Club, croisement d’une guinguette et d’un amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre, lieu de rencontres et d\u2019\u00e9changes. La transmission par l\u2019observation repr\u00e9sente la collection mus\u00e9ale et la transmission par le faire donne naissance \u00e0 un laboratoire cr\u00e9atif. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Le Mad Club devient un lieu de transmission dans son int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 avec ses modes alternatifs pour cr\u00e9er des rencontres… ou un lieu de festivit\u00e9 !<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Dans les salles d\u2019expositions, nous faisons face \u00e0 une sc\u00e9nographie \u00e9pur\u00e9e o\u00f9 seul l\u2019objet existe. Pos\u00e9s sur une bo\u00eete en verre qui donne l\u2019illusion d\u2019un flottement au-dessus d\u2019un plateau miroir. Notre regard tourne autour des objets, aucune face n\u2019est cach\u00e9e.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Au dernier \u00e9tage du mus\u00e9e prennent place 4 typologies d\u2019ateliers : l\u2019atelier d\u2019impression num\u00e9rique papier, l\u2019atelier d\u2019impression num\u00e9rique sur objets et l\u2019atelier d\u2019impression num\u00e9rique sur tissus ou v\u00eatements.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

On trouve \u00e9galement \u00e0 ce m\u00eame \u00e9tage, des cellules de travail ant\u00e9-production. Au sein de ces cellules, apr\u00e8s avoir r\u00e9colt\u00e9 les donn\u00e9es qui nous int\u00e9ressent au c\u0153ur des collections, on vient travailler ici. On s\u2019immerge dans notre collection, notre album Maciet 2.0, en le projetant sur une paroi fixe sur laquelle on peut les manipuler…<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Nous sommes ici dans l\u2019atelier impression num\u00e9rique tissus o\u00f9 l\u2019on voit les adh\u00e9rents cr\u00e9ateurs du MAD cr\u00e9er et s\u2019immerger dans leur r\u00e9alisations imprim\u00e9es qu\u2019ils peuvent suspendre sur des rails tout autour d\u2019eux.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

At its original site at Place des Vosges, the MAD was primarily there to educate practitioners. The sharing or more importantly the transmission of knowledge seems to have been the institution\u2019s doctrine since its inception. Where has this tradition gone within this museum obsessed with objects? We thought about how we might revive the role of Place des Vosges today.
