Le long de la rue de Rivoli, au c\u0153ur d\u2019un quartier prestigieux, le MAD se dresse comme un mur en coupant les circulations de son quartier. Dans la continuit\u00e9 du Mus\u00e9e du Louvre, il peine \u00e0 se d\u00e9marquer.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Pour rendre le MAD plus vivant et accueillant, nous venons le rendre traversant avec 3 passages, nous centralisons ses services pour une meilleure lisibilit\u00e9 et enfin, nous intervenons sur sa fa\u00e7ade afin de lui apporter une visibilit\u00e9 et une identit\u00e9.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

LES TRAVERS\u00c9ES<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

La premi\u00e8re intervention consiste \u00e0 ouvrir le mus\u00e9e sur la rue. Le hall d\u2019accueil, le hall Mar\u00e9chaux, et l\u2019arri\u00e8re boutique deviennent des passages strat\u00e9giques. D\u2019une part, elles permettent un acc\u00e8s direct entre la rue de Rivoli et le jardin du Carrousel, et \u00e0 plus grande \u00e9chelle entre la rive droite et la rive gauche.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

D\u2019autre part, ces travers\u00e9es permettent d\u2019avoir, depuis la rue, un aper\u00e7u de la richesse architecturale de l\u2019int\u00e9rieur du mus\u00e9e. Le MAD est ainsi plac\u00e9 dans une vitrine, qui permet aux passants la possibilit\u00e9 de d\u00e9couvrir ce lieu. Ces travers\u00e9es deviennent ainsi un point cl\u00e9 pour la visibilit\u00e9 du mus\u00e9e.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

L’\u00ceLOT<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Situ\u00e9 entre deux travers\u00e9es, l\u2019ilot se dessine et permet de centraliser les services. Premi\u00e8rement, il permet un acc\u00e8s direct \u00e0 la quasi totalit\u00e9 des expositions du mus\u00e9e et vient fluidifier les circulations int\u00e9rieures de ce dernier.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Au rez-de-chauss\u00e9e, accessible depuis la rue, le jardin du Carrousel ou des nouvelles travers\u00e9es, nous retrouvons la nouvelle billetterie, la boutique, le nouveau \u00ab Caf\u00e9 du MAD \u00bb et son salon biblioth\u00e8que.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Afin de faire du MAD un signal dans son quartier, la derni\u00e8re intervention consiste \u00e0 investir les fen\u00eatres des fa\u00e7ades cot\u00e9 Rue de Rivoli et cot\u00e9 jardin.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Cette installation lumineuse permet de souligner l\u2019architecture du b\u00e2timent tout en invitant les passants \u00e0 se diriger vers l\u2019ilot central.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Elle permet \u00e9galement aux fa\u00e7ades de vivre au rythme du mus\u00e9e et de ses expositions. Les LED changent de couleur en fonction des diff\u00e9rents \u00e9v\u00e9nements.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

The new MAD needs to come out of its shell and fit into the dynamic continuity of its prestigious and lively environment. Several passages have been marked out around the new heart of the museum to become the building\u2019s main circulation and house services to attract a broader clientele.
