Partir de la collection du Mus\u00e9e des Arts D\u00e9coratifs, c’est se baser sur plus de 100 000 objets en tout genre. Pour les raconter, le mus\u00e9e propose \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents penseurs de notre \u00e9poque – philosophes, sociologues, cin\u00e9astes, \u00e9crivains… – de choisir certains de ces objets et de les raconter aux visiteurs, utilisant diff\u00e9rents supports.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Le 3\u00e8me \u00e9tage du mus\u00e9e devient le coeur de la visite. Apr\u00e8s un espace d’attente et d’orientation donnant sur la nef du mus\u00e9e, deux galeries s’\u00e9tendent de part et d’autre. L’une accueille diff\u00e9rents espaces d’exposition de supports num\u00e9riques, dans l’autre on trouve diff\u00e9rentes sc\u00e9nographies exposant les objets s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Le mobilier modulable constitu\u00e9 de bo\u00eetes de bois empilables et assemblables \u00e0 l’aide d’attaches m\u00e9talliques permet de suivre les changements d’expositions, et cr\u00e9e un paysage d’arri\u00e8re plan pour les collections expos\u00e9es, support des r\u00e9cits du mus\u00e9e. Chaque choix d’objets peut ainsi \u00eatre expos\u00e9 d’une mani\u00e8re diff\u00e9rente.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Le passage reliant la rue au jardin est rendu public, et on l’y trouve une premi\u00e8re invitation \u00e0 entrer et comprendre le mus\u00e9e. La signal\u00e9tique est appos\u00e9e sur le mobilier que l’on retrouve ailleurs dans les \u00e9tages du mus\u00e9e.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

It intends to consider this collection as a whole, including objects on display and in the archives, and to no longer view them through the lens of history but to reinterpret them and display them alternatively.
