Dans ce projet, nous nous demandons comment redynamiser les collections permanentes du Mus\u00e9e des Arts D\u00e9coratifs et, partant des objets et des galeries, r\u00e9activer les notions d’\u00e9change et de transmission des savoir-faire, et finalement remettre au c\u0153ur de ce magnifique mus\u00e9e, ses enjeux premiers. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Au sein des galeries d’exposition permanente, nous proposons d’inscrire des pauses venant ponctuer le parcours. Ces pauses seraient dans un premier temps des ateliers de m\u00e9tiers d’art, puis viendraient s’inscrire en fin de visite, des salons, permettant d’approfondir certains corpus. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

En arrivant aux abords du Mus\u00e9e, nous voyons se frayer un passage. Nous nous approchons et d\u00e9couvrons d\u00e8s \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent de grandes vitrines offrant un aper\u00e7u de ce que propose le mus\u00e9e, qui \u00e0 la fois r\u00e9sument, tout en appelant \u00e0 venir d\u00e9couvrir ce qu’il se passe derri\u00e8re ces murs. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

L’atelier de sculpture sur bois, situ\u00e9 dans la p\u00e9riode du XVIIe si\u00e8cle de l’exposition, accueille chaque mardi, jeudi et samedi apr\u00e8s-midi, des artisans et apprentis venant d\u00e9montrer leur m\u00e9tier d’art et partager leur savoir-faire avec les visiteurs. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Suivant le m\u00eame principe que l’atelier pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, l’atelier d’impression 3D c\u00e9ramique est un outil pour les designers, qui peuvent s’inscrire afin d’utiliser cet espace au cours d’une journ\u00e9e. Ceci, dans le but de r\u00e9aliser leurs projets tout en pouvant faire des d\u00e9monstrations aux visiteurs. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Une fois la visite termin\u00e9e, nous arrivons au salon. Ici, nous est propos\u00e9 d’approfondir sur les sujets parcourus durant l’exposition gr\u00e2ce au caf\u00e9, aux diff\u00e9rents salons de lecture, \u00e9tablis en lien avec les m\u00e9tiers d’art pr\u00e9sent dans l’exposition, ainsi qu’un outil d’\u00e9dition de catalogue. <\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Building on the existing exhibition galleries, we hope to revive the notion of savoir-faire harboured within the countless objets d\u2019art on show. This will be achieved by introducing \u2018pauses\u2019 at regular intervals along the journey. These pauses will take the form of workshops demonstrating artistic occupations, providing a new perspective for the visitor \u2013 on the art of design and production.
