Ayant grandi \u00e0 Paris, j\u2019ai toujours eu une forme de contact plus ou moins direct avec l\u2019univers de la peinture. Tr\u00e8s t\u00f4t j\u2019ai eu la chance de pouvoir admirer les grands peintres, de pouvoir \u00eatre emmen\u00e9 dans les expositions.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

Si je ne me rappel pas de tout j\u2019ai gard\u00e9 en moi un lien fort qui a sans doute forg\u00e9 mon go\u00fbt et qui influence aujourd\u2019hui mon positionnement.
<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

Par ailleurs je suis fascin\u00e9 par les espaces ou les objets qui \u00e9voquent des r\u00e9cits, des univers et qui proposent des atmosph\u00e8res fortes. Comme en peinture les artistes, ou les designers qui les cr\u00e9\u00e9s, illustrent des exp\u00e9riences, des sensations des histoires par le choix de formes, de couleurs, de textures.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

Recherches<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

J\u2019ai d’abords mis en place un jeu d\u2019associations d\u2019esprits entre un tableau initial et un objet du monde du design ou de l\u2019art. L\u2019id\u00e9e est de capturer l\u2019essence des images en montrant un objet qui en compl\u00e8te l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

A la suite de ces recherche j’ai choisis de cr\u00e9er une gamme d\u2019objets \u00e0 partir de tableaux. Ils en reprendront l\u2019atmosph\u00e8re et la communiqueront.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n\n

Lampe \u00e0 poser “Hiboux”, inspir\u00e9e du jardin des d\u00e9lice. Cet \u0153il provient d\u2019un d\u00e9tail de hibou cach\u00e9 dans le tableau qui fixe l\u2019observateur. Pied en marbre et col en Laiton.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n

Tabourets “Th\u00e9ba\u00efde”: Apr\u00e8s avoir cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9tirer la pierre j\u2019ai choisi de plut\u00f4t la torsader. J\u2019ai r\u00e9duit la taille de l\u2019objet pour plut\u00f4t qu\u2019il s\u2019efface laissant plus de place aux autres objets. Il est en gr\u00e8s gris. l’id\u00e9e \u00e9tait \u00e0 la fois de rappeler la toge des moines ainsi que les reliefs et le paysage rocheux du tableau.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n

Arbor, Lampe haute en Laiton. J\u2019ai cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 le dessiner le plus fin et l\u00e9ger possible pour que ces diffuseurs soient presque suspendus. Le dessin de c’est objet est inspir\u00e9 des arbres stylis\u00e9 de Paollo Ucello dans son tableau “La th\u00e9ba\u00efde”.\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n

Canap\u00e9 – alc\u00f4ve “Cl\u00e8ves”. Inspir\u00e9 de la forme de la bouche du diable. La coque en fibre de verre est fix\u00e9e \u00e0 un pied m\u00e9tallique constitu\u00e9 d\u2019une structure et d\u2019un syst\u00e8me d\u2019accroches. Ce rouge changeant provient du velours de Mohair\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n

I\u2019ve chosen contemporary objects that I've found, which tell me something \u201cother\u201d than their function. I\u2019ve connected them to the world that I instinctively feel they come from, by associating them with an image or a picture.
