Ce roman est l’histoire de C\u00f4me, inspir\u00e9 du Baron Perch\u00e9 d’Italo Calvino. Un personnage qui va \u00e9voluer dans un monde inspir\u00e9 de l’histoire du design, s’y forger des convictions pour ensuite agir dans ce monde.

L’id\u00e9e de ce roman m’est inspir\u00e9e du design, mais aussi de la puissance de certains r\u00e9cits sur la vie humaine et notamment les romans initiatiques, pour leur mani\u00e8re de parler de la vie, de ses d\u00e9fis, de sa violence et sa beaut\u00e9. C’est confin\u00e9, entour\u00e9 de romans que j’ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de r\u00e9aliser un r\u00eave : \u00e9crire le mien<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

La puissance du design<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Faire du design un roman c’est parler de sa puissance. Par sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 s’adresser \u00e0 toutes les franges de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, \u00e0 incarner les intentions des hommes, il est aujourd’hui \u00e0 un basculement qui peut le faire changer de dimension. Ce m\u00e9moire est une prise de conscience sur son immense potentiel. Un parcours en r\u00e9cit.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Fabriquer le roman<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Pour fabriquer ce roman je suis parti de deux constats : tout d’abord le design est une aventure de vie, \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re des romans initiatiques. J’ai donc utilis\u00e9 la construction de r\u00e9cit du voyage du h\u00e9ros de Joseph Campbell. Cette trame d\u00e9cortique ce qu’est une histoire de vie, une aventure pleine vers l’accomplissement.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Puis j’ai cr\u00e9e une trame \u00e0 partir du r\u00e9cit. Cette trame me permet de coupler r\u00e9cit, histoire du design, \u00e9volution de la conscience de C\u00f4me dans son m\u00e9tier de fabricant et l’\u00e9volution de l’homme C\u00f4me<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Chapitre 1 : L’artisan<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Ce chapitre est l’arriv\u00e9e de C\u00f4me dans l’histoire. D\u00e8s le d\u00e9but, on voit ses qualit\u00e9s propres qui sont celles des designers selon Ettore Sottsass et Bruno Munari : l’\u00e9veil, la curiosit\u00e9, l’inconfort et l’amour de la nature. Il va rencontrer un artisan, inspir\u00e9 de William Morris qui va le mettre au d\u00e9fi de cr\u00e9er une machine.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

C\u00f4me traverse la for\u00eat qui m\u00e8ne de son village, paisible hameau \u00e9loign\u00e9 du danger, \u00e0 la grande ville de Calces. C’est un passage vers la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, une m\u00e9tamorphose qu’il va vivre comme une prise de conscience.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Chapitre 3 : Calces<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Calces est une ville m\u00e9taphorique du Londres du XIX\u00e8me si\u00e8cle o\u00f9 C\u00f4me va \u00eatre confront\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 de la fabrication. Il va d\u00e9couvrir avec admiration les immenses machines mais se rendre compte de leurs effets sur le vivant. Il va aussi prendre part \u00e0 l’arriv\u00e9e de ce qui serait le Streamline, et se maudire de cette participation.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Chapitre 4 : La n\u00e9buleuse de Polo<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Marqu\u00e9 par sa participation \u00e0 l’essor de la ville, il va s’enfuir sur l’\u00eele de la n\u00e9buleuse de Polo o\u00f9 r\u00e9sident les artistes qui se sont enfuis de Calces. Il va y apprendre qu’il ne faut pas maudire le monde d’o\u00f9 l’on vient, mais se servir de ce que l’on a pour le changer, l’aider. Il faut y participer car c’est le monde des hommes.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

C\u00f4me rentre \u00e0 Calces, d\u00e9termin\u00e9 \u00e0 faire \u00e9voluer le monde vers le bien gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son pouvoir, la fabrication. La ville a mut\u00e9 encore, et devient un espace de contr\u00f4le absolu. Il va se rendre compte de la difficult\u00e9 de s’ins\u00e9rer avec justesse dans ce monde, mais il va y parvenir gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 de belles rencontres.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

C\u00f4me rentre chez lui, avec la conviction de celui qui a fait son devoir. Il est d\u00e9sormais port\u00e9 vers un autre objectif, le coeur emplit d’amour, de force et de d\u00e9sir de rendre la fabrication plus puissante. Il en est tomb\u00e9 amoureux.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

Ce roman a \u00e9t\u00e9 une aventure folle, soutenue par Charlotte Poupon qui a mis beaucoup de confiance, de compr\u00e9hension et d’intelligence pour m’aider a fabriquer ce roman. Cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 un tremplin pour la suite de mon ann\u00e9e. J’ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un r\u00eave, port\u00e9 aussi par un petit renard, d\u00e9sormais dans des collines o\u00f9 mes yeux ne peuvent la voir.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n
