However, even before living in a building, people live in an invisible element which is not often considered but is in symbiosis with our bodies: Air. Blocking out all porosity with air seems incompatible with our primary needs and reveals the obsolescence of architecture. Through a new way of looking at our environment, this dissertation questions the psychological and material qualities of the element. What relationship do we have with air?
