Ainsi la p\u00e9rennit\u00e9 d\u2019un b\u00e2timent est garantie par son habilet\u00e9 \u00e0 changer de vie \u00e0 travers un nouvel usage.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/article>\n\n\n

La valeur d\u2019usage devrait l\u2019emporter sur les autres consid\u00e9rations.

\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nA Gand l\u2019\u00e9quipe de ROTOR investit les docks pour y faire le projet Grindbakken. En observant les lieux, elle constate que certaines traces du pass\u00e9 (mur r\u00e9v\u00e9lant diff\u00e9rents niveaux de remplissage d\u2019une cuve), d\u2019usure (lichen poussant sur le b\u00e9ton) mais aussi des traces d\u2019intervention d\u2019artistes de rue (tag, graff). L\u2019id\u00e9e leur vient alors d\u2019intervenir de mani\u00e8re discr\u00e8te et de r\u00e9v\u00e9ler ces aspects que l\u2019on aurait tendance \u00e0 effacer. Ainsi, certaines parties de murs sont laiss\u00e9es en l\u2019\u00e9tat et se retrouvent encadr\u00e9es de peinture blanche recouvrant le reste du b\u00e2timent. Le r\u00e9sultat cr\u00e9e un mus\u00e9e r\u00e9v\u00e9lant les traces du pass\u00e9 industriel de la ville et d\u00e9montre qu\u2019il est possible avec tr\u00e8s peu de moyens de sublimer un b\u00e2timent plut\u00f4t que de se contenter d\u2019une solution de facilit\u00e9 en le d\u00e9molissant enti\u00e8rement ou partiellement.\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/figcaption>\n <\/article>\n\n\n\n

Il faudrait, avant tout projet, inclure le patrimoine comme une alternative dans nos r\u00e9flexions d\u2019architecte sans pour autant le \u00abf\u00e9tichiser\u00bb. Il est temps de faire le deuil d\u2019une id\u00e9ologie de la table rase et de s\u2019inscrire dans la spirale de durabilit\u00e9, de flexibilit\u00e9 et de capabilit\u00e9.
